Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the PMRGuardian platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all guardians and users of the service provided by PayMeRobot, Inc.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to create a guardian account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Guardian Role

The PMRGuardian platform is designed exclusively for adults acting as guardians or financial managers for minors. You must be invited by a participating organization or employer to create an account. Accounts cannot be self-registered without a valid invitation.

US Residents

The platform is currently available to users in the United States only. By using PMRGuardian, you confirm that you reside in the US and that your bank account is a US-based account.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. This includes safeguarding your phone number used for SMS verification. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Redemption Oversight

As a guardian, you are responsible for reviewing and approving or declining redemption requests from minors in your care. You agree to exercise reasonable judgment when evaluating redemption requests and to act in the best interest of the minor.

Fund Distribution

Approved redemptions will be paid out to your connected bank account via Stripe Connect. You are solely responsible for distributing funds to the minor as appropriate. PayMeRobot is not responsible for disputes between guardians and minors regarding fund distribution.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and submitting tax forms. You must promptly update your information if it changes.

Stripe Connect Requirement

To receive payouts, you must connect a valid US bank account through Stripe Connect. By using Stripe Connect, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Connected Account Agreement, available at stripe.com.

Payout Timing

Payout timing is subject to Stripe's processing schedules and your bank's processing times. PayMeRobot does not guarantee specific payout timelines.

Failed Payouts

If a payout fails due to incorrect bank information or account closure, you are responsible for resolving the issue by updating your Stripe Connect account. Unclaimed funds will be held subject to applicable escheatment laws.

W-9 Requirement

If your total annual redemptions exceed the applicable threshold, you are required to submit a completed W-9 form. Failure to submit a W-9 may result in backup withholding at the applicable IRS rate (currently 24%) on your payouts.

1099-MISC Reporting

If your annual redemptions exceed the applicable reporting threshold, PayMeRobot will issue a 1099-MISC tax form in your name, which will also be reported to the IRS. You are responsible for accurately reporting this income on your tax returns.

Accuracy of Tax Information

You represent that all information provided on your W-9 is true and accurate. Providing false tax information may result in penalties from the IRS and termination of your account.

You agree not to:

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose; create multiple accounts for yourself; share your account credentials with any other person; manipulate or fraudulently alter redemption requests; attempt to circumvent platform security measures; use the platform to facilitate money laundering or other financial crimes; or interfere with other users' access to the platform.

By You

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting [email protected]. Upon deletion, your access to the platform will be revoked. Any pending payouts will be processed before deletion is finalized.

By PayMeRobot

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any behavior that harms the platform or other users. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including tax obligations, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

As-Is Service

The PMRGuardian platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. PayMeRobot makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PayMeRobot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost earnings or delayed payouts.

Third-Party Services

PayMeRobot is not responsible for the actions, errors, or outages of third-party services including Stripe or Firebase that are outside our direct control.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised terms on this page. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
